SESSION INFORMATION

Call or email your request for a reading. When you call, you will almost always get voice mail, so please leave your name, your phone number (twice if you're on a cell phone), some good times to reach you and the reason for your call. Lisa will normally call you back within 3 days to schedule the actual appointment. Telephone is the preferred method for setting appointments. If you email Lisa, please include your name and phone number as well as the best times to reach you.**If you do not hear from Lisa by day 3, please call or email again. There are times that she has not received the messages.

During the initial call, Lisa will ask for all the pertinent information she needs for the session so that when she calls you for your actual session, it will start immediately. Please let her know at that time if you'd prefer a cassette recording of the session that will be mailed to you or an .mp3 file that you can download from the internet. Cassette tapes are mailed within 7 days and .mp3 files are available within 24-48 hours.

Please note that Lisa will determine during the initial phone call whether or not she is the best person to help you. If her intuition tells her that she's not, then she will be happy to refer you to a communicator that might be better suited for you. Please do not be offended if she tells you that she will be unable to read for you. She'd rather you have a great session with another communicator than a disappointing one with her and she has to follow what her intuition is telling her. Also, there are times when she either feels or is told by your animals that you don't need a reading with a Pet Psychic. Many times the animals tell her that they already communicate with you on a regular basis, so they don't need her. That's great!

If you've scheduled a telephone reading and you're in the US, Lisa WILL CALL YOU at the designated appointment time so you don't have to pay the long distance charges. *Applies to calls within the continental United States only. International clients must call her at 281-497-8073.

You are welcome to have someone with you during the reading, both in person or over the phone, but please limit the number to two people. Lisa is able to connect with your animals through your energy, so if you have many other people with you, it may be their animals that come through and not yours. Also, if you have someone who isn't interested in the reading, negative about it or even just having a bad day, their energy will affect your reading.

During the reading, please let your animals be free to do what makes them comfortable. THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE NEAR YOU OR THE PHONE FOR A GREAT READING!

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO ENSURE A GREAT READING
       
 
Tell your animal(s) (both living and in spirit) that you have someone that is available to communicate with them at the designated appointment time and ask them to please come through with clear and specific information during the reading. Please convey that they are free to say WHATEVER is on their mind during the reading. This is their opportunity to tell you whatever they want to tell you.
 
       
 
Lisa likes to work with specific questions as you get more out of a session when you ask what you want to know. Make a list of questions for each animal. They can be as specific as you like, but please don’t have a specific answer in mind as the answer may not be what you think! If you have certain issues you want to concentrate on, please mention it during the initial phone call, but understand that Lisa will never start a session with problems. Another point to consider is that Lisa cannot change your animals behavior. If you are having behavior or training problems, then she will help mediate a compromise between you and your animal so that a resolution that can be obtained that is fair to everyone, but it is up to you to implement the changes needed. With her 20 years of animal training and behavior experience, she is able to give you practical ways to modify and influence behavior in a way that is acceptable to everyone.
 
       
 
Please do not give Lisa too much information about your animal. The less information she has, the better your reading will be. It is her job to give YOU information on your animal. If you have health concerns with your pet, please just let her know that you'd like her to scan for problems. Normally if there is a health concern that's really bothering your animal right then, Lisa will pick up on it before she even calls you. She will normally not pick up on health issues or disabilities that your animals are used to. She only picks up on what's bothering them now and what is coming up.
 
       
 
Don’t have any preconceived ideas on what your animal or animals have to say. While you may 'want' to hear certain things from your animals, the focus of the reading is their perception of things and that is normally different than yours. Lisa works from the animals point of view and will relay everything she receives from them, no matter what. Be open to your animals wishes, needs, wants and messages.
 
       
 
You never know who's going to come through in a session with Lisa! It’s been known to happen that an animal or person in spirit comes through to relay messages to you. Know that if they expend the energy to come through, there is a reason for it.
 
       
 
Take a few minutes before your reading to relax and center yourself. The more relaxed and comfortable you are, the better your reading will be. Again, your animals do NOT have to be with you in order to have a great reading. Please let them do whatever they are doing.
 
       
 
WHAT TO EXPECT FOR YOUR READING

When Lisa calls you or you arrive for your reading, she will immediately start the session. She understands and appreciates that you are busy and there is no reason for you to pay for unnecessary chat. She gets all pertinent information on your animals in the initial phone call so all you need to do is tell her which animal you would like to start with and your reading will begin. Please note: if you have more than one animal, it's usually not the one you want to start with that comes through first!

If she is unable to connect with your animal(s) within five minutes with specific information related to your animal, Lisa may choose to reschedule you for another time. There are times when the timing is off for either Lisa or your animals and in order to have a successful session, it's better to do it on another day. Particularly when communicating with spirit, she's learned that it's all about THEIR timing, not ours and they will come through when their messages bring you peace and not pain. Also, It's a rare occurrence, but please note that because her psychic abilities are dependent upon her physical, emotional and spiritual health, if she is under par in any way, it will affect her ability to communicate with your animals. There may be times when Lisa feels it's best to reschedule your session for a day when she is feeling 100% in order for you to have a great reading. Please be understanding if this occurs as it's in your best interest. You are never charged unless a clear connection occurs and you have a full reading.
   
 
Unlike many other animal communicators, Lisa’s readings are very interactive between you and your animals. You are present during the entire session. Your feedback is needed to validate the information being relayed and you may ask additional questions as the reading unfolds or ask for clarification immediately on issues that are unclear. She also relays your messages to your animals during the reading and in many cases mediates compromises on behavior, training and other issues, so your participation is critical. Your reading should be about what YOU want to know about your animals, not the communicator.
   
 
For all readings, she prefers to start out with specific questions for your animals. Just like people, some animals are very chatty and will start talking immediately while others are a bit more hesitant about the process. For those animals, asking them specific questions eases their minds and allows them to open up more easily. All questions are welcome within limits. Two questions she will not ask directly are: "Are you happy" and "Do you know I love you". The reason is that 'happiness' and 'love' are very subjective things and hard to convey telepathically. You will always get the answers to those questions during your reading, but she will not ask them directly.
   
 

After your animal has answered all the questions you have, a body scan will be performed if it is needed and if your animal agrees to it. If you are aware of a current health concern, please let her know what part of the body it’s affecting so she can pinpoint and delve deeper into that area during the scan, although it is quite normal for Lisa to pick up on the area affected before she even calls you for your session. All information received will be relayed to you during the reading. Animals are sometimes very specific about what is wrong with them or what they need to be feel better or be healed. This information should be relayed to your veterinarian in whatever way you feel comfortable so your animal can get quality and specific care regarding that health issue but please understand that Lisa does not diagnose, treat or heal illness/disease in any way. She only relays your animal's pains, feelings, needs and symptoms as they describe them or as she feels or perceives them. A body scan is a tool to help you and your veterinarian understand how and what your animal is feeling at that time and to help pinpoint the process/organ/system that is being affected.

   
 
Lisa does ask that you, the client, pay attention to the time spent in session. During her reading, it's very hard for her to concentrate on both your animals and the time, so it's up to you to wind it up in the time you have allotted to spend with your animals. You are always in control of how long a session lasts.
   
 
The recording of your session will be available within 48 hours if you've chosen the .mp3 version and within 7 days if you've chosen a cassette tape.
